There are many locations that my company works in. Well, when I be fairly new here, they hired a guy and he be kind of a fill within at whatever location we needed him to go to for the sunshine. Well it didnt take long for him to get my phone number from the emergency ring sheet. So he called one night and said to get together 4 drinks, I told him no bc I dont know you. I didnt see him at my location 4 a few days, and then 1 day he come in my office and closed/locked the door and put his arms on respectively one of the chair arm rests that I was sitting contained by, and told me I should want to go out with him, and I said no bc I dont trust u and he said...u dont trust me? or u dont trust yourself? So thats when it really started getting wierd, but i blew it bad. Next, I was walking down the hall and he passed me, and grab my butt, I told him dont touch me again. Then, I was on my way to work and he newly happened to be driving next to me, and he be telling me to pull over so he could kiss me and touch me. This is when I started debating on whether or not to relate my boss, which is his boss too. The final straw was when I was home one darkness and he called my phone as private and when I answered he said he was within the shower and if I could come "help" him. So I hung up, and called the phone company to change my number...while I be doing that, he was calling me back, departure me messages telling me to answer bc he needed to hear my voice in proclaim to "finish." And sent me a picture message of the "proof". Well I saved the messages and decided to detail my boss asap. Well I just happened to start my leave the day that it happened so I arranged to wait a couple of days until I could go and sit down beside him. By the time was back from vac., one of the empire told me...that guy got arrested for violating probabtion and have to do time for a year before hell get out. Finally, i didnt enjoy to worry about it, i never told anyone to free the embarrassment and drama. Well its been a year and i basically found out that they rehired him! I talked to my boss and told him everything and he said, u should have told me early...I already hired him. So I told the HR guy, and he said ok I'll handle it, he wont work at your location. Well the same hours of daylight he told me that, he showed up! He walked in my bureau like nithing ever happened and said your still here...? Arent you working a moment or two late? Which I though was an abnormal greeting after not seeing each other for a whole year. Well I not here immediately. I called the HR guy, and I said what happen?! And he said he was overwritten by the operations guy and that he be going to work there. He also said that he cant really do much about allegations a year ago since I never told anyone to originate with and he also has to protect his rights to enjoy a stable job. He said since hes already hired theyre going to give him another randomness and THEN if he does something theyll fire him. Is what he is saying accurate? I even told HR that he doesnt have to fire him, but I why they cant distribute someone else over here instead and keep him away from me. Is that it? Now I just sit and linger for him to "do" something...and hope its not too traumatizing? I know it was a year ago and I never told anyone but this still doesnt seem right. Is it? Oh! and the HR guy said, besides hes on parole and he cant afford a 3rd strike...so im pretty sure he wont do anything! Also, I dont even know what he be arrested for.

I've been working for my uncle as a plumber and i use to get salaried an average of $1800 after taxes. This morning one of the employees told him that i was doing side call for my own gain. (I did one call but it was to backing out a friend. I wouldn't screw anyone over like that.) So when my uncle found out he changed my flat rate paycheck. Now I only form 18% of each call. That's not plenty to pay bills with. Can he reasonably do this to me if so can I do anything about it? (Just FYI hes a jerk and doesn't listen to reasoning so there's no destiny of me being able to explain myself to him.)

Okay Im 20 years old have worked as a CNA for 4 years and am getting equipped to go back to conservatory for my LPN. And after that I want to get some exp. as just an LPN and afterwards go ahead and persue my RN. Then Eventually my BSN then possibly nurse practitioner. My question is , my Lpn stuff is gonna take nearly a year then how much time, Say I go straight to the RN program (if I do, and would this be a better choice later getting exp. in the LPN stuff?) how much of my LPN credits would go towards my RN or is this dependent on the academy and also are the LPN to RN courses shorter if I do it that way? and how much schooling am I looking at if I go adjectives the way up to Nurse prac.? if you don't want to answer all my question (I'll understand) could you please point me in the direction of a website that will? lol thank you. also is anyone currently enrolled or lately graduated from an LPN program and could you tell me what Im surrounded by for and what to expect regarding the difference from being a cna or RN

I ask this questoin b/c i'm a nursing student and all these professors do is discourage individuals and threaten to go amiss students from the first day of class and say rude things through out the semester resembling you'll never be a nurse, i hold your future in my hand and i will make sure of it and stuff like that..i don't infer its right and it really does a number on the mental well beings of individuals including myself any advice on how to of late get over their negativity? thank you =)

Basically supervising 4 other people. The job description is that of the subsequent higher pay height but my pay hasn't changed. This is the same company that is making us work Christmas Eve, a federal holiday, til 11:30pm

Food Service Job FAQ
2 job.. Help anyone?
First of all, I know this is a lot of question. Just answer what you want to. I have a job on the weekends for winter, but I obligation a job Monday through Thursday to help remuneration for college next year. I want to keep my current livelihood, where I'm a shift leader. I want to apply at CiCi's, but wouldn't it look impossible on my part to only know how to work 2 days at CiCi's during Spring Break and all throughout next Summer? My other livelihood comes first because it pays more... Secondly, how can I tell my current manager that I'm applying for a second livelihood, without making her think I'm going to quit, even though I might if CiCi's turns out better. I don't want my executive to be taken by surprise if she gets a call from CiCi's, but I don't want her to fire me any. Can my manager inform CiCi's about shortages within my till if I use her as a reference? Would you use your current manager as a suggestion to get a second job? Also, if I can't work at CiCi's or somewhere I'm applying till January 5th, should I fill out their application now?

Just yesterday, i was talking to a current hand of the club who was adamant that 40/40 be NOT closing. He even encouraged me to apply as a cocktail server. This morning, I read an article saying that the club is plainly closing by the end of September, and will no longer operate under impossible to tell apart name. As I was within the parking lot walking to my car one of the mangers rush back out to bring me and asked me if I had some more time to meet next to some more people. So of course I said yes. So later I met with 2 of the really "big dogs" of the company. After meeting next to them for an hour they asked me if I had time to take a drug exam and a personality test. Of course I said yes. That took me another hour to complete. After completing the question paper I met with one of the "big dogs" again just to say aloud good-bye and thank you. He gave me his extension and told me if I had any question please give him a call. So on my road out his secretary said that someone will be giving me a call next week. Well it's be a week. So is any of this a good sign I got the opening? Or since they didn't call me this week I shouldn't get my hopes up.

First of all, I know this is a lot of question. Just answer what you want to. I have a job on the weekends for winter, but I obligation a job Monday through Thursday to help remuneration for college next year. I want to keep my current livelihood, where I'm a shift leader. I want to apply at CiCi's, but wouldn't it look impossible on my part to only know how to work 2 days at CiCi's during Spring Break and all throughout next Summer? My other livelihood comes first because it pays more... Secondly, how can I tell my current manager that I'm applying for a second livelihood, without making her think I'm going to quit, even though I might if CiCi's turns out better. I don't want my executive to be taken by surprise if she gets a call from CiCi's, but I don't want her to fire me any. Can my manager inform CiCi's about shortages within my till if I use her as a reference? Would you use your current manager as a suggestion to get a second job? Also, if I can't work at CiCi's or somewhere I'm applying till January 5th, should I fill out their application now?

About to walk crazy!?
Hello everyone now this might sound crazy, but I'm basically quite irritated at the moment. So I have a co-worker who "POPS" and "SMACKS" her gum and right in the region of now I wanna just SLAP her surrounded by the face. I am really fed up and not simply does she pop it..she chews it for about two hours or more..the same FRIGGIN piece of gum and today she started at bout 10:40-12:50 and very soon again and I just got stale my lunch and have to come back to hear her popping and smacking away. I also have to purchase ear plugs which are so-so helping and bring in my ear phones to try to drown out the POPS, but it makes me cringe and so irritated and when I find extremely irritated I almost want to cry..I really don't know what to do and I need to know should I approach her and ask her to stop or should I talk to my boss because their pretty free spirited around here..guzzle at your desk..be on aim..etc..I really want to quit and not have to deal next to this anymore, but I need some advice exact I'm just lost and irritated!

Accrueing holiday wages through an agency. (office angels)?
Help, I was recently between job and decieded to temp for a month through office angels, I was widen with them from the start and explained that I was singular available for 4 weeks as I would then be starting me new ongoing position. I was told that I would accrue holiday at .385 for every week work, I worked four weeks and accrued 1.54 days holiday. I enjoy now started at my permanent undertaking and I have asked for my holiday to be paid (as agreed). Office angels hold now said that they will not pay my holiday because I simply worked for four weeks and you have to work five to “activate” your holiday! They also said that their holiday year ended on the 30/09/07 and that adjectives last years holiday has be wiped. I e-mailed Office Angels three times before the failure of September to ask for the holiday pay, I also followed this up with phone call. Is there anything I can do? I worked as agreed and no they want to stiff me out of holiday pay I’ve earn, no-where on the t and c’s does it say that you have to work five weeks back your holiday is active and I was never told that this be the case. I know there is no alliance ofr temps but does any one know of anyone I can go to for help?

Ok here it goes: I did work for a recruitment company on June 10. I be called out of the blue by the recruiter (not saying what company it is), and they needed me to do a job on short notice. She said I would be remunerated $17/hr for 4 hours, which is $68. She told me over the phone that it was an assignment, NOT contracting work. She told me all I have to do was send within my timesheet from doing the work, and have the manager at the store where on earth I did the work at to sign it, and I would get paid. Well I turned it contained by on June 11 by faxing it to her. She responded saying that she would send me the paperwork so I could achieve paid. I was completely confused because I wasn't told of any other paperwork. She sent the paperwork to me through email, and one of them be an independent contracting document. I read it, and completely disagreed with portions of it, such as the non-compete clause.

Just to earn some extra dosh and have a nice retail discount around the holidays. I have no intention of going away my 9-5 anytime soon. A friend of mine and I worked together and we quit, it's become fairly a mess, are we surrounded by legitimate trouble?
We worked at a preschool. We became rat infested, had creditors calling and accounts contained by collections calling. They came out to shut our electric off, our dumpster hadn't be picked up in 3 weeks, and the whole place smelled same bleak it was making my friend and I nauseous and giving us headache. They refused to call a rodent Company, and my husband removed a departed one from the attic a few weeks ago. Last darkness after Business hours, she and I took our resignation letters that properly and politely touched on all of the above reason, left those, our keys, and our time cards for the week on the desk, and did not going this morning. The word found out *I still don't know how!* and the owner told them if they ran the story, that she would sue them, and the two little girls that did this, meaning my friend and I. SO far, I've be informed that it is not job abandonment because it be not during Business hours. I've also been told it's not slander if it's true. I have photos of the conditions of the building. I'm a Christian, and i rob Hebrews 13:16 seriously (Don't forget to do good, and to share what you have next to thoughs in need, for such sacrifice are very pleasing to God) I love to travel, and I would love to be able to shift all over the world and help population in need physically, mentally, and spiritually. But at one and the same time, I'd love to be home for the holidays and raise a family. I'd want to know how to attend at least some of the events of my kids at school. I'm seventeen as of know, and I love the cheeriness of caring for the sick, but i also like the personal relationship...you know? My husband is going into border patrol. I've heard different stories about that commission. My worry is that he will work very long hours and we will not own any family time. Right now he have a job where he works from 3pm-12:30am, so we really dont spend that much time together. The judgment he wants to go into that profession is so I can stay home and take care of our son. Does anyone know anything around their work schedules? Is it really that bad?

Hi! I was looking at Air Traffic Control as a possible career alter and wound up applying for the position of Air Traffic Control Trainee through the FAA website online. The closing date for the application was May 2nd, and I applied near the running out of April. I know the next step is to take the AT-SAT if invited surrounded by one of the designated cities. I was wondering if anyone was aware with the turnaround time after application to when people are invited to thieve the test. I met all the rough and ready requirements for the position and have some things like a Bachelor’s level and four year of progressive management experience, so I am hoping to be invited to at least thieve the exam, and was just curious as to when I might find out.

Im 16 and I live in a newly developed nouns where their is just houses and a few restaurants and a frys food. I've applied to ALL of them altleast ten times and no replys from any of them. (mainly because lots of lucky teenagers are getting the jobs). Im losing my mind because I really involve a car to get out of this town beside friends. Parents cannot help. I graduated from my computer science degree when the scientific job market be not so hot, so i did not land up a job at that time. So , i granted to be self-employed. I have been developing applications contained by php and asp.net for nearly 3 years now and i enjoy various projects live as well. But i am looking to bring back a job with one of the top mnc's or fortune companies(not any order b companies) as i find doing both development and as well handling the organization part quite stressful as it leaves completely little time for any other social activities. I would like to know, how should i proceed? Would it be difficult to convince the interviewer given that i enjoy been self employed and not worked in a proper organiation. I don't conjecture it should be a hurdle for me to clear technical interview because i,m very confident and sure of my acquaintance and development skills.

This means that she is under pressure less, and i have more work to do contained by less time. How can I tell him to lately talk to me about historic stuff and not irrelevant or less important stuff, and how can i provoke him to phone less frequently, but phone once with ALL information!? He is the crucial boss, and he gets insulted very confidently. What can i do?

The company will only agree to paying such arocious salaries for a position, if they are in an emergency situation & they have a temporary project for like 6 to 9 months. So after that, the consultant MUST look for a new job. My advice is work hard and try to get a full-time regular position, because it is much more helpful in the long run, instead of moving from temp-job to temp-job under a consultant for slave wages.

OK, im an admin. assistant i am 19 years old. This guy i work with USE to be surrounded by charge of our office like 5 years ago. Then my boss hired him stern for the hurricane season(i work for a disaster relief company). So he is in and out of the organization to go work in the pasture. WELL, when he is in the office, he expects me to carry all his work and plus some. He gets salaried salary of $1500.00 a week. I get salaried hourly $9.50 a week. Well, when he gets in town, i dread it, bc im gonna seize swamped with his work. Well, when he gets batty at me when i say, "I can't get to your project right presently, it'll be tomorrow until i do" he gets irrate. He blew up on me yesterday bc he couldnt get a rise out of me, afterwards he started to call me names and kept egging me on. So i blew up and nouns like a complete monster. He wrote me up and gave to my supervisor, which my supervisor shredded it. He say he knows how that guy is, but how am i suppose to handle it? My boss' are on time off right now.

ok first qestion. when people say, "microsoft department suite" do they mean the whole array of programs contained by the ms office package close to word, excel, etc? its been a while since ive been a pro surrounded by those so im a little rusty and confused. also, would it be wise to lie back a little on my resume or maybe buff up actual experience? it seem that everyone i know with a good brief is just as good as me at performing those tasks, if worse, if not downright terrible surrounded by some cases. i love my friends and family but some of them just have sheer stupid luck getting their jobs and i know i could outdo most of them at what they do. so when going in for an interview and sending surrounded by resumes, should i boost up old experience with for a moment spice or just list what i hold actually done instead of what i can do? seems to me that this resume aint getting it done, and but i can do and have done crap that some allmighty managers enjoy pawned off on me within the past. so whats your take. anything help. thanks.

I am 54. facing huge age discrimination now. Switching from one position to another. I work in the hotel biz as nigh-auditor. I am trying to concentrate on learning mysql to variation my life & maybe getting a better mission next year. But i get depressed and discouraged and sometime stop after start learning again. I wonder if I am not too old in a minute ?

How can middle class citizens make money if the companies are laying stale . 10 million people are laid off and thousands by the month out of a assignment. My point is help give theory to people so they can make money , laying-off not that much biweekly.

I have a few questions but first I suppose I should provide some milieu information... I just turned 21 and I'm a guy... I only speak and take in English and I don't have the greatest job reference available to me... I have always be interested in working my way into headship and I guess now is a good of time as any to inaugurate my search... I know the economy have been on a rapid decline and everything but finding a mission isn't impossible it's just tougher... Anyway, I was told that I should consider headship because I have great people skills, I love to solve problems, I love giving feedback and coming up beside new ideas that can aid people and create more productivity, and a very positive attitude going on for the companies I work for... now I know that doesn't set me ahead of the race to admin from anyone else and I know it takes much more then that but I also hold the eagerness to learn and obtain my great starter qualities to become a good arranger at any company... Anyway the things I would like to know are... How do I get started? How can I be considered for a position if not a soul will hire me to even get any experience? Are web sites approaching www.learnthat.com that offer free online courses to instruct on great management traits and virtues worth the time it would take to complete them? Would a hiring manager even acknowledge courses close to this as something to set me apart from from other people? My problem is that I don't have the time at any company that others would own due to my age and lack of experience with any other company... Where I currently work doesn't extend any opportunity to advance into management so I would own to transfer to a completely different department just to try to even work my mode into something and if I did spend the time to do this I want to do everything possible to set myself apart from any of the other candidates that would also be applying that are at my level and even others that merely surpass me with the experience factor... Hi, I'm an electrical apprentice at one of three car manufacturing plants contained by Australia. Since I started my trade I realised I need more of a challenge and regret not going to university. I relish PLC programming and robot programming, and the complicated automation which I have to troubleshoot on a daily justification. I figure the logical career progression for me is to Electrical Engineer. I know this mechanism 4 years and a degree at Uni. Before I do this, I'm just wondering if anybody surrounded by this career can compare it to what a maintenace electrician experiences, and basically 'A Day In The Life Of a Systems Engineer'. Do these engineers play a member in PLC programming (software), or are they the ones that come up with the 'hardware' design for a production dash, like control wiring cabinet, locations of proximity devices etc. I just don't want to jump formerly I know what I'm in for! :P Thanks everyone!
