I have been applying for job all month..I have three career offers now one is at $8.00 a hour as a dishwasher surrounded by a restaurant which its no negotiation for a raise until after 6 months and its about a hour ride to work (2 buses and long subway ride)..the other is a catering company (a) $10.00 which is in the region of 5 blocks from my house..I already accepted the dishwasher job which is tomorrow and i start the cook errand on saturday 11am which one should I do..I have very little experience as a cook but he offer training..Is the $8.00 worth it..both are full time..I also go to school (semester ends may 19th)

Advice surrounded by becomming a cook/chef as a career-please!?
My husband is wanting to have a total career conveyance and persue his passion for cooking.We have a 2 year outdated and a baby due in May.I work quantity time shifts and he currently works full time shifts.We wont send the kids to a nursary until they go to the university one (dont have day carefulness for them as we do it ourselves,1 of us works when the other is at home). I have 7 years working experiences in my hometown Thailand, and hold lived in the states for 4 years. English is my second languages. Though mine is not fluent English speaker, but I can communicate next to others in my daily energy. However, It was my bad time as I just had my third interview yesterday, and I have to answer 12 questions during the interview. Actually, the questions be not too difficult to answer, but the problem was I was extremely tentative that made me stuttered and made my memory blocks. So I couldn't even answer a simple question. I'm feeling frustrated. If I can't overcome the fearfulness, I don't think I can get a errand. My mother-in-law starts bad-mouthing me for not getting a job now. Accountants: Should I even get hold of my MS surrounded by Accountancy?
Hey guys, This question is more directed towards any accountants out there who enjoy actually seen how hiring/promotion works. I'm currently a sophomore (junior subsequent fall) majoring in accounting and i'm wondering which path would be more beneficial to my craft in accounting and business: - Graduate end of Junior year and after enter an MS accountancy program (Notre Dame's). This is a one year program. Pros: Obviously I would get a MS degree + Bachelors surrounded by the time I would normally only bring back a Bachelors. Con: Tuition costs more (my scholarship doesnt cover grad school), and also, I will have to be working harder. - Stay and graduate average time. Accumulate 150 credits (for CPA) and boost GPA. Pro: Wont work AS hard. Plus I get more credits to boost GPA. Con: Obviously dont acquire an MS degree. So basically. It boils down to, would/does an MS point make me more attractive as a prospective employee? What trade path would you chose? Any hints/suggestions?

I wouldn't be moving for a couple of years but still wanna gain a heads up on what it would be like and the likelihood i'd have of securing a job!

I am a senior accounting major and will have an MBA and 150 hours surrounded by May of 2009. I am trying to get an internship with any Deloitte or PwC in the summer as part of my MBA program. I enjoy heard nothing but great things more or less both places from friends and professors who have worked there. But after visit both offices, it seems approaching the hours for full time staff are more intense than I thought. I still want the internship for the great experience, but I was wondering what other types of careers I should look into that would hold less hours but still pay a clad wage. I realize that I won't know for sure until I have worked at a Big 4 firm but I want to have some sort of backup plan. I don't resembling the idea of working 65+ hours for a good portion of the year and not have time to see my beautiful girlfriend (hopefully wife by the time I start working full time), and was hoping nearby are a lot of options out nearby for a 45 or so hour a week, every week, job. Any thoughts? Thanks

I was placed on a temp assignment a few weeks ago that pay pretty correct money 16.hr, an office cubicle job.Last week I received a call upon for a counselor opportunity.My Degree is in the Behavioral Science, and this is the perfect opportunity, that I hold been looking for.However, I don't want to lose my current job, but I took rotten yesterday to go to traffic court, plus,my supervisors aren't giving me work, I'm sitting at work basically adjectives day,while other people are working, next my supervisor is coming my cubicle every hour asking me stupid stuff, like do I have a ruler, or can I assist him with his computer, plus my supervisor isn't really responding to me when I ask her for more work, am I being permit go? Should I quit?what should I do

I have been looking for almost two months immediately to find a job. I've sent my resume, by email and by fax, to over 30 prospective employers found via the Fourth Estate and internet. I've applied at retail outlets, restaurants, and customer service sectors in the nouns I live in and as far out as 30 miles away. Why can't I find a job? My mother is of the assessment that something on my resume is undesirable to potential employers, but I don't know what that something could be! This is what I normally include on my resume: -my positions as a Pet Care Lead at PetSmart (6 months), a bartender at Red Oak (6 months), a server at Steak n' Shake (8 months), and as a summer volunteer at the local Animal League (4 months) -my large school graduation and classes taken there -my ongoing college teaching and classes being taken -my personal skills with computers, animals, etc. -my low-level proficiencies near foreign language I even make a cover communication specifically tailored to every application!

Hello All, I work as an administrative asst. for a firm located in the Wall Street area of Manhattan. Unfortunately, I am markedly unhappy here because I find myself bored outta my mind on most days with nought better to do to kill time than get on the internet. But because of the recession we're suffering through right presently, I am waiting until the end of the summer to search for something hot. However, while I was bored today (yet again), I went to Craigslist.org to check out the postings for the administrative assistant positions. I found one that mentioned every single job that I do here + the office was located surrounded by the same area as our bureau. Do you think I'm being paranoid or should I ask my supervisor around this? Thanks!

ok so I have been at my brief for 2 months. I work at a community college. I work part-time as an office assistant. I don't resembling it at all. In fact, I loathe it at hand. It is just a bunch of tedious, mind-numbing work. The pay packet isnt that great either. So I figure I am unsatisfied and I am not doing anyone any favors by staying so I submitted my two weeks notice today. But the beginning of Fall semester is around the corner. Am i person underpaid at work?
Well i have an Associates Degree in Business. I am 20 years prehistoric and have about 3 years bureau experience. At my last job i be making about $11.11 an hour but now i am making $10.25 and hour even after working for an entire year at my current opportunity. I work for a cabinet company in Washington State and mostly my job have to do with printing orders, entering information on database, assembling, and confirming our company is delivery the right material we ordered. It is a full time job and at times i enjoy to stay late just to finish a day's work. So what do you guys cogitate should i start looking for another job that pays higher? FYI the unsullied minimum wage in WA is a little above $8.00 an hour presently.

I have been at my unmarked job for about 3 months. I relish it and everything, its just I feel nearby are different rules for the others than me. There are only 5 of us in the company I work for. 2 bosses, 1 accountant and me and another man who aren't bosses or anything. I enjoy an hour for my dinner, but everyone else seems to do what they want, I follow all the rules so i dont catch into trouble, but they ave like 1 1/2 dinners and go out whenever they want for breakfast and progress to the gym! The other man is no higher than me, but he is related to the boss. Am I reading too much into it,I just dont devise its fair that I bust my *** trying to get to work on the dot and they do what they want-go on internet at work and stuff! (I know I am but its the first time)
Am I required to excise employee's automobile allowances?
I am in the process of attempting to automate our expense reimbursements. The old means of access, I used to cut a separate check for all expense reimbursements (such as cell phone expense or any other expense incurred by an employee) and attach the expense check to his or her paycheck. I have very soon begun adding the expense reimbursements to the employees' web pay. The only expense I own not done this with yet it automobile allowances. I am not sure what the levy laws are on this type of expense. Are monthly automobile allowances/automobile expenses for employees who use their vehicle for work supposed to be tax, or can I add them back to the employee's lattice pay? If it helps, I am within North Carolina.
Am I responsible for duties not done by a troop applicant?
My boss stresses the team thing and cross-training, but when my co-team beneficiary (the receptionist) gets behind, I'm expected to abet out, and generally I'm fine with that as things do inevitability to get done. However, when she's consistently 5-10 mins. late surrounded by the morning, I'm held responsible for making sure the switchboard is turned on simply because I start 30 mins. earlier. This is just one article that drives me crazy most about being on this squad, and picking up the slack from a lazy team contributor who is babied just isn't right.

I do not get respect on the job, and I devise it's because everyone knows that I am fresh out of college. I have have other jobs before, within offices, this just happen to be my first one when I was not also going to school. 1. I am mortal reviewed every 30 days it seems 2. my boss rarely consultation to me, and jokes around with other individuals who are in our small department. 3. I get the standard feeling my boss doesnt like me or respect me 4. Every report, email, I distribute out is scrutinized for the smallest error, and if I do make an error it is documented. 5. My sucesses are not notice. But my errors sure are. 6. my boss recently got an attitude next to me in an email, and tried to act approaching they were kidding in the order of it when I Cc'd their boss on my calm reply to it. 7. My boss is not approachable for help, and is discouraging me from asking other general public in my department for help, and just after I make a mistake, asks me why I never came to them for assist. 8. I can no longer trust anyone in my dept.

I landed a job almost 2 months ago with a large corporation and the wage is very nice. I currently have my A.S. level and will have my B.S. in December. In the recent past I have held several positions where I be the manager or coordinator over different departments. Currently I am an administrative assistant and I never do anything! It is simply driving me crazy! I come in at 8 and play around on Y!A? until lunch, after I go to lunch, come back and play around more. The most confrontational thing I do all hours of daylight is set up conference calls for people or rob a contract from one floor to another and back for signing. Needless to say I'm foreboding a little like a trained chimp here. I would step up and ask for more responsibility but the detain is I'm pregnant and am not going to be coming back after December. Am I crazy to LOATHE my job? I do nil and it pays so well! Is there anything I can do to eliminate the boredom or should I suck it up for the next few months? I'm going crazy!

My tentative job is demanding both intellecually and Physically and I am happy they give me the chance and saw beyond my weight. My alien boss has just refered me for a robustness review after just three weeks in post. Should I try and tough it out and hope everybody will kind allowances for the way I look and act.I don't reflect they can fire me now because I could sue them for discrimination.But surrounded by my heart I know that I am probably a liabilty at the moment,and it is only going to get worse as I acquire older. Should I quit?what should I do

I have been looking for almost two months immediately to find a job. I've sent my resume, by email and by fax, to over 30 prospective employers found via the Fourth Estate and internet. I've applied at retail outlets, restaurants, and customer service sectors in the nouns I live in and as far out as 30 miles away. Why can't I find a job? My mother is of the assessment that something on my resume is undesirable to potential employers, but I don't know what that something could be! This is what I normally include on my resume: -my positions as a Pet Care Lead at PetSmart (6 months), a bartender at Red Oak (6 months), a server at Steak n' Shake (8 months), and as a summer volunteer at the local Animal League (4 months) -my large school graduation and classes taken there -my ongoing college teaching and classes being taken -my personal skills with computers, animals, etc. -my low-level proficiencies near foreign language I even make a cover communication specifically tailored to every application!

Hello All, I work as an administrative asst. for a firm located in the Wall Street area of Manhattan. Unfortunately, I am markedly unhappy here because I find myself bored outta my mind on most days with nought better to do to kill time than get on the internet. But because of the recession we're suffering through right presently, I am waiting until the end of the summer to search for something hot. However, while I was bored today (yet again), I went to Craigslist.org to check out the postings for the administrative assistant positions. I found one that mentioned every single job that I do here + the office was located surrounded by the same area as our bureau. Do you think I'm being paranoid or should I ask my supervisor around this? Thanks!

ok so I have been at my brief for 2 months. I work at a community college. I work part-time as an office assistant. I don't resembling it at all. In fact, I loathe it at hand. It is just a bunch of tedious, mind-numbing work. The pay packet isnt that great either. So I figure I am unsatisfied and I am not doing anyone any favors by staying so I submitted my two weeks notice today. But the beginning of Fall semester is around the corner. Well i have an Associates Degree in Business. I am 20 years prehistoric and have about 3 years bureau experience. At my last job i be making about $11.11 an hour but now i am making $10.25 and hour even after working for an entire year at my current opportunity. I work for a cabinet company in Washington State and mostly my job have to do with printing orders, entering information on database, assembling, and confirming our company is delivery the right material we ordered. It is a full time job and at times i enjoy to stay late just to finish a day's work. So what do you guys cogitate should i start looking for another job that pays higher? FYI the unsullied minimum wage in WA is a little above $8.00 an hour presently.

I have been at my unmarked job for about 3 months. I relish it and everything, its just I feel nearby are different rules for the others than me. There are only 5 of us in the company I work for. 2 bosses, 1 accountant and me and another man who aren't bosses or anything. I am in the process of attempting to automate our expense reimbursements. The old means of access, I used to cut a separate check for all expense reimbursements (such as cell phone expense or any other expense incurred by an employee) and attach the expense check to his or her paycheck. I have very soon begun adding the expense reimbursements to the employees' web pay. The only expense I own not done this with yet it automobile allowances. I am not sure what the levy laws are on this type of expense. Are monthly automobile allowances/automobile expenses for employees who use their vehicle for work supposed to be tax, or can I add them back to the employee's lattice pay? If it helps, I am within North Carolina.

My boss stresses the team thing and cross-training, but when my co-team beneficiary (the receptionist) gets behind, I'm expected to abet out, and generally I'm fine with that as things do inevitability to get done. However, when she's consistently 5-10 mins. late surrounded by the morning, I'm held responsible for making sure the switchboard is turned on simply because I start 30 mins. earlier. My boss is not approachable for help, and is discouraging me from asking other general public in my department for help, and just after I make a mistake, asks me why I never came to them for assist. 8. I can no longer trust anyone in my dept.

I landed a job almost 2 months ago with a large corporation and the wage is very nice. I currently have my A.S. level and will have my B.S. in December. In the recent past I have held several positions where I be the manager or coordinator over different departments. Currently I am an administrative assistant and I never do anything! i worked at kmart for awhile and i just quit because i got sick of it. for anyone who know kmart lingo - i was the 01. basically i collected the shopping cart, swept up, did customer carry outs, any other dirty job someone else didn't want to do. the money be easy, and it was minimum wage which i guess i shouldn't complain around. the issue i had was it be simple, no brainer work anyone could do. i got sick and tired of the same entity every single day, not thinking, just doing, for minimum wage. im trying to find a livelihood where i actually do something that matter and possibly use my brain for? and possibly make more than minimum wage? that rules out pretty much most of the jobs most teenagers procure i guess.. like fast food, rime cream places, etc. im great with computers if that gives anyone concept. thanks

She is a exceedingly smart and responsible girl, very mature for her age and is great near computer graphic designing, typing skills, time management, and she is extremely punctual & trust-worthy...another words, she would like a job working at a computer, conceivably doing some office work but IDK if a GED will get her that far contained by an office.does anyone have any thinking of where she can start out at to better build her career? What's a sure-fire course for someone young and inexperienced like me to lands a steady (yet flexible for school reasons), good-paying job? Am I simply asking too much?

Im currently looking for work (preferably using Solidworks, having 4 years experience using it) but there is zilch at all where I live (north east england) Plenty of regime jobs though ... I work very okay on computers and have dealt next to shed-loads of paperwork in the past. I own applied for loads but nothing is coming back. Many of these job say things like 'administrator/receptionist'... Is this a largely feminine sector of work? I'm not sexist or anything its just that when I think around it I've never met a male receptionist and all the women contained by my old workplace were employed for the leadership part of it. I have no authentic qualifications in regime but have gained 4 years experience using Excel, Word etc on a day after day basis and am very apt with them. Oh.. and I'm 23. Any advice would be great :)

Im currently looking for work (preferably using Solidworks, having 4 years experience using it) but there is zilch at all where I live (north east england) Plenty of regime jobs though ... I work very okay on computers and have dealt next to shed-loads of paperwork in the past. I own applied for loads but nothing is coming back. Many of these job say things like 'administrator/receptionist'... Is this a largely feminine sector of work? I'm not sexist or anything its just that when I think around it I've never met a male receptionist and all the women contained by my old workplace were employed for the leadership part of it. Im a supervisor at a retail store, and I have this seasonal employee, he's 23 years dated. Well he had to leave soon early in May (daughter have the flu), then he called out a hours of daylight on June 3rd, then July 2nd (illness), and then asked for a morning off on July 16th in credit, and then called out today... is this a sign of attendance problems? We hold full time guys that have missed 3 or 4 days in 2 weeks but they hold sick and personal time, but he's seasonal.. what do you think? The job started May 2nd. I don't even know why we hire seasonal guys, we don't bother to really supervision or train them anyway. Why just not hire full time.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to read my question. For many years, I hold been curious about pharma sale, but many insiders have told me to consider (medical) assets equipment sales. What are the pros and cons of such jobs. Additionally, I am concerned just about my ability to land any position, as I lack the 2 years of outside sales experience that is to say standard industrywide. I do, however, have two bachelor degrees, one surrounded by nursing (BSN) and one in communication. I am currenty working as a travel nurse and making over 100k/year, but I still belive I can reach superior levels of success within sales. I am very outgoing, hardworking, and especially competative, so I know that once I am given a opening I will do well. I am also ready, likely, and able to relocate and travel. BUT> I am getting an itch to accomplish a Bachelors Degree as a personal goal. The colleges that propose BSN are not that close and I am leary about cost and commuting. The big draw is that if I go to a 4-year for RN I knock out the schooling, bring a career AND get a bachelors scope. Is it really worth it to go for BSN and why or why not? I know having a Masters open a lot more oppetunities but my goal right in a minute is RN. I need a push! What should I do? thanks!

Ok here's the situation. My husband and I want to open a southern restaurant in Canada. I'm a chef and he's going to hang around tables and handle the register. Up til presently we haven't been able to find an investor. Recently, a girl we've particular for a long time who lives in Australia, told us some things about her. First, her aunt or grandmother died in the region of a year ago and left her a large sum of money, over $2.6 million. Second, she have leukemia and is dying. She wants to come here and stay with us. Also, she say she has no need for the money and doesn't want to evacuate it to her relatives. So she wants to finance our restaurant for us. She's not expecting anything hindmost. Just a place to stay for the rest of her time. By the way, I've had greatly of people tell me not to trust this. If you are one of those relations that will, please don't answer this question. I only want guidance on the legal matters. Right presently I'm simply giving you the situation so you can understand all of it and make a contribution me a good answer. Ok here's the situation. My husband and I want to open a southern restaurant in Canada. I'm a chef and he's going to hang around tables and handle the register. Up til presently we haven't been able to find an investor. Recently, a girl we've particular for a long time who lives in Australia, told us some things about her. I work for the State of MN and was hired last October for a short-term position covering someone while they were out for back surgery. I'm not sure how the State works or anything..I be told that my employment is now extended til the end of February and I signed the notification stating that. Initially I was only going to be here til the ruin of January. So right now I'm applying to jobs to gross sure I have something if I'm done here at the end of the month. I've looked up other questions about this, but the job all seem more 'professional' than mine x_X. I applied at Quizno's, and I thought that I did pretty okay, considering I got some experience from my last 2 interviews...which didn't travel well. However as I have be looking up at the requirements of firms it seems that I wont be able to bring a job after Uni as I don't have the UCAS points. I will I had just go to college for a year then to Uni with the correct amount of UCAS points. I hold considered trying to get work experience at a firm, like so several hours a week and I would even be willing to do this without any take-home pay (which I have had mixed counsel about). I have thought of getting a paid leisure job doing just broad things like book-keeping but I'm finding this difficult as most firms are looking for practical experience. The thing I am presently considering is if I try and get more Highers at night to attain my UCAS points up or just go spinal column to college this August full time for a year. If anyone has experience of this please help me out. Thanks

I just wanna know something like how long does it usually take for accountants to get 6 digits income. I know accountants get high earnings at the beginning, but the increase rate is pretty low. Compared to actuaries, for instance, I heard that accountants' take-home pay is low. I'm just wondering how, "as an average", they earn? I changed the job and immediately feel that it was a big mistake. Now all my collegues want me to return, it last a week, I love my job. I regret a lot that I departed. I know that I wasn't right. Collegues tell that it will be better for the company if I stay. I am doing my job well brought-up, I have no need to ask somebody. Nobody desires me to leave and me too. The new position was proposed by a friend and then I feel that this friend was just a prostitute and she think its Ok, she can evolve by sleeping with her boss, but not me. So, I dont now how to describe to my manager that I want to stay. We have already taken another enployee and I a moment ago can't go and say that I want to stay, even know that the manager will be 90% happy. He is a honest person and didn't want me to go, but I enjoy no courage and no words to say to him. Help me, please! How to tell? Or perchance just leave and find another charge? I am lost and I know that I committed a huge mistake both for me and for the company.

I work at an accounts firm and lately i have been making numerous mistakes contained by my work. There is one particular employee i'm afraid of coz he keep on talking to me in a uncouth way and he is part of my department.He is one and only slightly higher position that me and has be working for 2 yrs compared to me 2 mths. I've been in this post for more than a year now. It's been great UNTIL this ASSHOLE come along from another department :l The reason he was sent to us is because his boss get tired of him being late adjectives the time and was caught leaving untimely from work when the boss is gone. He does the same thing next to us. He comes in 15 minutes late everyday sometimes 2-3 hrs postponed. We're not supposed to make up time but he is allowed to for some strange reason. He never say "Sorry" for anything. He says nasty things around co-workers. He kisses up to the boss all the time. We've filed adjectives kinds of complaint on him but HR would not do anything. He calls within sick at least 1x a week. One time they even had to close down the library because he didn't show! He's be employed in the colloge for more than 3 years. He's been beside us for more than 12 HORRIBLE MONTHS. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm applying for jobs but no one's hiring right now. He's really stressing me out. I newly ignore him at work but when I get home I own nightmares about him. HELLLLLPPP!

i have been getting in position to go on maternity walk out. every1 had been nice to my obverse UNTIL i called in four days ultimate week. i came back and walk in 3 or 4 times on people tralking crap going on for me. it was mainly my custodian supervisor boss ( whose out to go and get me anyways) talking to office staff ( approaching the secretaries) saying things like " gee i wonder what excuse she will come up next to to not work today" and laughing and they were laughing too. i felt approaching a big joke. happend 3 times the last time i worked. im 8 1/2 months pregnant 300 puonds and its a physical opportunity in 100 degrees fry so what do they expect. at this point i dnot really need an excuse not to come in, do i? i dont know why they giving me a frozen time instead of being more supportive. does ti sound close to im the laughing stock at work?

I'm an assistant and I knew I was gonna enjoy to put up with alot of crap, but its starting to take its toll on me. When I ask my bosses question, sometimes they don't even answer or acknowledge me. And it seems like I get hold of blamed for "messing things up" when its not even my fault. i have been getting in position to go on maternity walk out. every1 had been nice to my obverse UNTIL i called in four days ultimate week. i came back and walk in 3 or 4 times on people tralking crap going on for me. it was mainly my custodian supervisor boss ( whose out to go and get me anyways) talking to office staff ( approaching the secretaries) saying things like " gee i wonder what excuse she will come up next to to not work today" and laughing and they were laughing too. i felt approaching a big joke. happend 3 times the last time i worked. im 8 1/2 months pregnant 300 puonds and its a physical opportunity in 100 degrees fry so what do they expect. at this point i dnot really need an excuse not to come in, do i? i dont know why they giving me a frozen time instead of being more supportive. does ti sound close to im the laughing stock at work?

Having raised a problem with wages,something else have surfaced.I have been erudition a new role for the past 6 months.My colleague and troop member started in indistinguishable boat.New to the role and the firm. I have caught him blaming me for problems that are both our responsibilities,he has jelled beside every one else way faster than me,so I have be feeling outcast since starting,he varies his lunches beside no consideration for my not being able to dance to lunch until he returns.My boss has made me feel that he does not endow with a monkeys about me, I have be lied to about my role and as a result have be put on the phone overflow,taking calls that are not related to me.The result of which has cause distraction and errors.Now I have found out that our roles will no longer exist,Two new combined roles will be made and two relatives will be made redundant. My colleague is constantley having meetings beside my boss.I am entitled to nothing and burned bridges getting here.Any one got any thoughts?
Am i Being Too Sensitive?
I'm an assistant and I knew I was gonna enjoy to put up with alot of crap, but its starting to take its toll on me. When I ask my bosses question, sometimes they don't even answer or acknowledge me. And it seems like I get hold of blamed for "messing things up" when its not even my fault. Like if a clients cell phone dies when I transfer a name, they get snippy with me even tho I can't control what someone else's cell phone does. I know society get stressed at work, but is this acceptable?

51 year infirm womanly working near 71 and 85 year outmoded men that want my hours!?
I recently answered an ad for a guarantee company that stated my job would be "full time, 40 hrs/wk, nights and holidays". At the interview, the boss told me that it would be more approaching 46 hours per week providing that the senior officer didn't want the extra hours. Well, he did...so now I get 36 hours per week. At that time, within were exactly five officers. Less than two months after that, we have seven officers. One have agreed to stay on as emergency on-call (basically no set hours). One is being threatened with firing, one is 85 years elderly, one is 71 years old, one recently have a heart attack and was off work for over two months...at 51, I am the lone female officer there, subsequent to the youngest, and my work so far has been in need incident or problem. My doctor has ordered me to have surgery contained by three weeks. Even though I will miss less than a week of work, I have this odd feeling that I will not get my 36 hours put money on again after I return from surgery. I've asked the boss and he said that I would get my 36 hours back, no question asked...but...he gives in to the 71 year hoary fellow who is a sexist and thinks the 85 year old buddy can do a better assignment than I can. He has already told other officers within that he fully intends that the 85 year old officer will be taking over my job and that I can own "maybe 8 hours a week". The only wonderful piece about this job is that I work alone and don't hold to be around these dinosaurs more than ten minutes per day. Should I hang contained by there and trust the bosses word, get equipped for a sexual harrassment suit (remember, I am the only female working at this facility) or consent to the old farts have their instrument and quit? I love this job and would hate to lose it...I scrounging, this sounds harsh and all, but the 71 and 85 year antiquated fellows don't have too copious working years left I would think (surprised and shocked that they ARE still working). 51 year infirm womanly working near 71 and 85 year outmoded men that want my hours!?
I recently answered an ad for a guarantee company that stated my job would be "full time, 40 hrs/wk, nights and holidays". At the interview, the boss told me that it would be more approaching 46 hours per week providing that the senior officer didn't want the extra hours. Well, he did...so now I get 36 hours per week. At that time, within were exactly five officers. Less than two months after that, we have seven officers. One have agreed to stay on as emergency on-call (basically no set hours). One is being threatened with firing, one is 85 years elderly, one is 71 years old, one recently have a heart attack and was off work for over two months...at 51, I am the lone female officer there, subsequent to the youngest, and my work so far has been in need incident or problem. My doctor has ordered me to have surgery contained by three weeks. Even though I will miss less than a week of work, I have this odd feeling that I will not get my 36 hours put money on again after I return from surgery. I've asked the boss and he said that I would get my 36 hours back, no question asked...but...he gives in to the 71 year hoary fellow who is a sexist and thinks the 85 year old buddy can do a better assignment than I can. He has already told other officers within that he fully intends that the 85 year old officer will be taking over my job and that I can own "maybe 8 hours a week". The only wonderful piece about this job is that I work alone and don't hold to be around these dinosaurs more than ten minutes per day. Should I hang contained by there and trust the bosses word, get equipped for a sexual harrassment suit (remember, I am the only female working at this facility) or consent to the old farts have their instrument and quit? I love this job and would hate to lose it...I scrounging, this sounds harsh and all, but the 71 and 85 year antiquated fellows don't have too copious working years left I would think (surprised and shocked that they ARE still working). Any thoughts on the thing would be appreciated.

Where I Have like one month working at target. There is a great team workers but my programmed is 6-12 and sometimes 4-12 midnight. I'm a full time student on the week I only work Tuesday and Sunday ( the day that affecting me to progress to school the next hours of daylight because I have to wake up impulsive ) I try to talk two times with the character that is in charged of the rota and she said no that she only changed the schedule for the those that have more time working there. One of the executive talked to her and she said that she can't accomodate the schedule. Yesterday I go to talk to one of the staff there to let somebody know her that I was leaving the duty and she said that she will talk to her to see what she can do. she say that they will listen to her more. idk what she said that. the points is that Am I asking for to much? I regard that when my 90 days finish they will kick me out of the job.. I really approaching the job but my school is my priority I'm 19 years elderly I lived in a danger neighborhood but I don't want to say-so that because is sound more like an excuse. what do you judge about my situation?

I graduated from high institution early and now I'm spending most of my time around the house. I detestation this, it's so boring and lonely. I want a daytime job, but I don't want to reduce myself to something similar to a fast food joint. Is it really true that you own to be 18 to get a "real job"? Or is nearby ANYTHING I can do?
