About Medical School Requirements for Foreign Undergraduates...?
Hi, I'm a U.S. citizen who completed up to middle school and half of big school before moving to Taiwan. I finished the partner of high school and am close to completing my undergrad. and I'm about to take the MCATs this September. I own an average GPA of 4.0, and I have also participated within a variety of volunteer programs in hospitals, such as blood donation, nursing homes, Ambulance Volunteers, etc. And adjectives my hopes of being a doctor were at the top... until I hear something from a friend in the states that made my heart drop. He said: "You have to complete UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN THE U.S. and ONLY the U.S to even apply for Medical School contained by America." And if it's true, then it's not fair for me. I completed everything contained by the U.S. EXCEPT FOR JUST college, which I'm completing in Taiwan. It's not my fault fate's resembling this... Is what he said true or false? Or are there any exceptions? Can anyone help me out? My life's biggest dream is at stake. =/

Ok, I really have always looked-for to be in the medical field, and i considered necessary to be a nurse but i really would love to be a nurse practitioner but im not good at math. I wanted to know if the schooling for a np is complex and does it involve alot of math? and what you do as a np everyday? Hope someone can answer my question. :)

Nurse is very hot in California, lots say in first year of graduation, they can fashion $70K to 80K, and in Pasadena city college, over 400 applicants for 40 nurse program students every year, 10: 1 lottery. But I read Y'a, some says frequent new nurses can't find a job because several hospitals try to hire less and less nurses, more and more nurse assistants. Is it true? I hear nurse is always in shortage surrounded by California, why they don't move? Don't tell me how expensive in CA because I live at hand, $70K is pretty good money in CA.

I am a registered nurse in california and a military wife. We just moved to north carolina. I want to work as a nurse contained by camp lejeune marine dais here in north carolina. Do i have to verbs my RN license california to RN LICENSE NORTH CArolina? Or would they allow me to work as an RN inside the marine base beside my CAlifornia RN license?PLEASE HELP! Thanks a lot.

I'm thinking about becoming a pt. How difficult is it to be a physical therapist? I know this art requires a doctoral program, but when I job shadowed a pt it seemed close to they spent a lot of time sitting around and just observe. Can this career get boring?
