Air Marshal Question: Please Help Me?
okay...so I really really really want to be a Air Marshal and I read that 15 days out of each month they are on "duty" and sit nonchalantly on planes waiting for crime/terrorist threats. Well what do they do or the other 15 days out of the month? I cannot find it anywhere. If you find a GREAT website that explaisn my question, please site it..I will supply the best answer to the person that helps me the most and give the most information.

Alabama Minor Work Laws?
I was wondering what the laws where on earth on how many hours a 16, 17 year old, can work. I get into an argument with my manegment because they said i cannot work more than 8 hours a day because i am a minor. Is this true? i cannot find anywhere that say that. Plus i have worked over 8 hours many heaps times, and no one has said anything. Thanks,


Alabama State Labor Law - Doctor's note/Medical Leave?
I work at a company known as West Customer Management Group LLC and they've suddenly decided to stop accepting doctor's record to excuse employee absences. This doesn't thing if the employee was within a severe car accident and go into a coma for a week or not, no matter the case. The site official states the reason as being, "We don't thoroughness why you're absent, if you have Paid Time Off or Unpaid Time Off within your scheduling system, you need to use it instead, otherwise it's unexcused." Personally, I know Alabama is one of the many states that are supposed to follow the Right to Work law, including Wal-Mart who is already trying to settle a Class Action Suit against this very same thing. Question is, if I be to get fired for being hospitalized, where on earth can I find more information on my rights? I've saved 2 copies of every doctor's note I've search out for the past 2 years so I have adjectives the notes from doctors and can also easily make a purchase of any that I may have missing from the hospitals I've been to. I'm also aware already that if I be to be fired for missing too much work when I've got doctor's notices to prove such absence should've been excused that I can collect unemployment from the company. I'll summarize my question. 1). Where do I find the statutes for Right to Work Labor Laws? 2). If I'm fired from West Corporation due to hospital stays, can and should I press charges against the company?


Alabama Unemployment benefits grill?
Is it true someone can quit their job and collect benefits simply because they live more than 50 miles away from work? Would that be one way or round trip? I'm asking because I hold an 82 mile commute round trip to work and the gas is killing me. Jobs are scarce near me because it's a rural nouns but I could manage for a while on benefits while I find something or go to university.

Alien member of staff check?
i've recently applied for a job; i'm expecting my employment authorization within the mail. i thought i'd have a chore waiting for when it comes. The manager of the fast food store i go to typed in my information into store computer including my drivers license number(which is a temporary one i get with my b1/b2 visa before i met my wife) but consequently she said something about sending 'it off' (and got some quality of confirmation number) to INS or IRS (not sure what she said) or something like that and they might request more information? Now i'm concerned this could cause adjectives kinds of problems with my application for status as binding resident as my application may not have been approved and looks approaching im trying to work illegally?please advise!


Almost 4 years ago I be fired from a profession that I have for roughly 10 years. It be stupid.?
Also a long story. The problem is almost 4 years later & I still have a difficult time explaining during interviews. What is the best opening to get this off my transcription? It wasn't anyting big or illegal. Just embarassing only because it be so stupid that I think people surmise I must be hiding something. Anyway I need some help next to what I should do.I need a job. I own had two jobs since and no problems. Should I merely start lying and say I got out of a job? What is the procedure with HR? One of my refererences is even the HR person from the company that fired me.this is so dumb and on the other hand it keeps me from getting a good available job. It's so unfair. Any ideas? I would resembling some input from HR people..


Almost Fired for using the Bathroom at Work?
My shifts are usually 9 Hours long. I take 3-5 bathroom breaks a day. They are no more than 2 minutes long. I be in motion in... come out. When I have to budge, I have to go. But I am getting written up because of this. To the point of individual fired. I am posting this to see my Legal Rights. What can I do? All of your help will be greatly appreciated.

Alternative Legal Career surrounded by Environmental ___________ ?
I am seeking the ideal alternative legal art. I graduated law conservatory last May, sat for and passed the NY and CT block exams in July. I tried for about 6 months to ground a job in Environmental Law here contained by NYC, but found the process fruitless. Now I am working at a small personal injury firm to pay the bills, but badly want to work on environmental issues. I also enjoy a B.A. in environmental studies from college. I wish i go for the B.S. I want to work advancing environmental objectives, whether it be (for example) working for an alternative energy company, doing policy lobbying, or something completely different. I do not want to boundary myself to traditional legal work, but i want something that will allow m to use the skills that i have cultivated. Please advocate me if you have any thoughts, insights, experience, or are just all right informed. Thanks.


Alternative legalized career?
I am a licensed attorney currently looking to move out of state. Because it will be awhile before I can sit for the bar within the state I am moving to, I am wondering if there are jobs that I can use my ruling degree for which don't require me to be licensed? For example, I know that some people work as contract administrator, etc. What are some other jobs that I could use a law amount for?


Am entitled to my final six days of pay packet?
My contract reads... "The employee shall cary out the duties assigned to him to the best of his handiness on a full time basis. This Agreement and the Employee's employment may be terminated prior to March 24 2008 for just effect or for any other reasn upon one weeks written notice (or pay surrounded by lieu of notice) without any further requirement for further notice, retribution in lieu of notice or severance payment at common law or lower than statute. The employee shall give one week written interest of resignation if he/she choses to resign prior to March 24th." This job in cross-question finished early on March 18th. I never received any written notice near respect to an early finish. The way I interpret that paragraph is that I am indeed entitled.
